Wat maak je toch een prachtige wereldjes! Heel zorgvuldige gecomponeerd, al is hij wellicht inderdaad net iets te groen. En (nu ben ik aan het vormgeversneuzelen), van alle dingen in de tekening heb ik het gevoel dat de typografie de minste aandacht krijgt.
I don't know if it's acceptable but these days I do like "Tripping" by Robbie Williams very very much. The kids in the house prefer Jamie Cullum and some Turkish music by Tarkan. Nina has a turkish friend and is invited to a turkish wedding next weekend, she wants to move her belly! :-)

Nee grapje, ik heb de hele tip2000 lijst uitgeprint, maar ik word er altijd ontzéttend twijfelachtig van . In gedachten maak ik hele mooie lijsten die ik een paar uur later weer vergeten ben.

@Bart: De typografie gaat door Piet Schreuders gedaan worden, dus dat komt wel goed. Ik flap er een soort schetstypografie op, zodat ik plaats over laat. En zodat ik goed op de tekst let, want die omschrijft pijnlijk precies wat er op het plaatje moet staan.

Ah, okee - ik voelde me al in mijn lettergekke hart geraakt. Illustreren en typograferen gaan lang niet altijd in een mens samen. Een klasgenoot van me is daarom na vier jaar illustratie-academie alsnog grafisch ontwerpen gaan doen.
Oh, en mijn favoriete liedje van dit moment is: Sovay, van Andrew Bird. Ondanks de onbegrijpelijke tekst.
@Bart: Ik heb vier jaar grafische vormgeving gedaan op StJoost, maar ik was er heel erg slecht in. Nog steeds, en ik heb er ook een hekel aan. Andere mensen kunnen dat veel beter dan ik. Andrew Bird, never heard of. He has a nice website. I am playing an mp3 now, mmm. Has to grow on me I guess.
Costello. I chose "I want you", which is one of his best, and has the benefit that people have heard of it, so it will make it into the top 2000. But there are of course a lot of other excellent choices from his oeuvre (do you say "oeuvre" in English, or in Canadian? It looks strange but OK).
It is TOO HARD to pick a favourite song-there are so many good ones! But to risk our friendship is too much so here goes-my favourite songs are French-surprise! I love Revoir Paris-Charles Trenet and La chanson des vieux amants -Jacques Brel. I have some Dutch favourites too-I love Suzanne (yes, Leonard Cohen) but translated and sung by Herman van Veen and of course anything by Theodorakis sung by Liesbeth List.
