torn apart

Wendy noticed it. She saw the pic on the left side of this page, and said so in yesterday's comments. And it's true, my new Little Golden Book arrived yesterday, hurray! I had planned to do a contest like last year, with Tim's Bed. To send a signed copy to the first person who finds my book in a bookstore. But I received my copies so late, that it's already in the bookstores! Willem told me that Praamstra in Deventer had a whole pile of them. So the competition is off, sorry. We could of course do first photo in a bookstore, couldn't we? Okay. I promise a signed copy for a beautiful picture like this one, with the new book! I am quite happy with the way it turned out, though I don't like the way they tore apart the picture above one bit. Probably my fault, I probably was a page short. Water under the bridge.

Yes, our brand new little golden book is already in the shops, and better, Praamstra is going to make a "etalage" with it next week. I found a beautifull small merry-go-round from a 'miniatuur kermis' Hope he will manage to borrow it for a while. I promise to mail a nice picture when its there.
By the way, did I see a Eliane as one of the parents??? Or was that this years contest...

Which one?! No, I didn't knowingly draw myself, honest. But sometimes, when you have to draw so much and so quick, that just happens. Good for you, that you've got them do a shop window again! I'd love a picture of that!

gefeliciteerd met je tweede gouden boek. Heel mooi!

Zie mijn blog.Maak even een link. Willem

Wish I was in Amsterdam now, so I could walk to the bookstore around the corner and check out your Draaimolen. The pics look great, even when they're torn apart. Will it also be published in English?

No, I don't expect it to be translated in English. Let's be modest here.
