The last of the world village articles was supposed to be in the paper today, but it wasn't. No idea why. And you disappoint me. Maybe the book crowd doesn't read me anymore, maybe these authors are just too obscure. I don't think I drew them unrecognizable. So make an effort, will you. Who are these people?
I'm not really a "reader" - but the lady on the far left looks a little like Joyce Carol
Oates and the woman on the far right looks a bit like Hillary Clinton.
There.
Now I've made an effort.
(I do love the way you do people.)
Bummer BB, they're all Dutch.
i'll play my joker, which is paul. he knew guus kuijer and imme dros and paul biegel and toon tellegen. we both knew joke van leeuwen. in fact i knew her before paul noticed a lot of them are children's book writers. all, probably...
Very good! You only missed Els Pelgrom, Peter van Gestel and Wim Hofman. But before I started these sketches I had no idea what these three looked like, and I am probably not the only one. And yes, all of them children's book authors.
Paul Biegel, but only when it dawned on me these are children book's authors.
And Joke van Leeuwen, because of this little movie.
