Did you miss me? I'll bet you did. We went canoeing, seven days, five camp sites, 32 kilometers. We saw a rattle snake, an otter, and almost a bear. Orbit smelled it the instant he got out of the canoe, he barked into the wood. Orbit never barks unless something is seriously wrong. He shaked and shivered and panted all night long, I don't think he slept at all, terrified. But we never saw the bear. The park people said there are tons of bears around this year. They had told us there was one with three cups at our first camp site, but we were fine there. We met other campers whose dog got jumped on by a bear, they had watched it happen from inside their tent. But the bear was nice, didn't hurt the dog, just scared it. Yes, as a matter of fact I did wonder where you were… Sounds like you had a wonderful time! When I was traveling in Maine (U.S.A.) I had an encounter with a bear while peeing in the woods! My small dog was with me and I grabbed her and started running to the car with my pants dangling around my legs….
