Hope you liked the movie....
Yes I did, it was a lovely film! I liked how they showed the Parisian grocery shops. I found it a bit disappointing that they left Julia's TV career out of the film.
Just read that this movie is going to show in Holland in October.
So I guess I have to waite...
I wonder whether the film is going to do much in Europe, Julia Child is a legend over here, but who has even heard of her in Europe? Anyway, at least make sure to read a little about her, and watch some youtube clips with the real Julia!
The Observer did a great story on Julie (or Julia, can't remember who is who) 2 wks ago. Her next book is about her butcher's career. Pictures were especially great, very stylish.
Yes I think you are right. I did not think about that.. I lived for 7 years in the U.S.A... But all movies with Meril Streep are allways doing great overhere, so who nows...
