I added a tiny little mother on one of the drawings, and that is really the last Tim thing I'll do. Yesterday I didn't have anything to blog, sorry. I went to the Dutch pub night. Which is very funny, a pub full of Dutch in the middle of Toronto. Last night it took place in a restaurant on the 51st floor. And you know what, ever since we live here, we ask ourselves why Canadians don't wash their windows. Even a restaurant whith a view as its only appeal has dirty windows. Rare jongens, die Canadezen. The pub nights chairman is the cousin of a Dutch TV celebrity, and it's weird how much they are alike. Looks, gestures, voice, humour, weird, weird. But ours is straight, which is even weirder. If you ask me. And very nice, by the way.

with your new book.
Only thing that I regret about your blog is that, there will be little surprises when the book is published and in my hands.
Lex "the pig"
Posted by: Lex van de Oudeweetering at February 27, 2004 04:47 AMRubbish! I will even still be surprised myself! 1) I didn't show everything. 2) Holland's very best and most famous graphic designer will go messing about with it.
Posted by: eliane at February 27, 2004 07:08 AMI am already surprised now and glad to hear, you kept some of them behind.
How is the new red dog of your daughter growing.
Lex - ill himself - "the pig"
Posted by: Lex van de Oudeweetering at February 27, 2004 07:41 AMI wish you well. My daughter is not ill, quite on the contrary I am happy to say. She had some vaccinations this week; disease prevention. We very much favour vaccination, especially since we lived in southern Germany -antivax headquarters- and she contracted whooping cough. Which lasted for half a year and made her skinny and weak.
Posted by: eliane at February 27, 2004 08:38 AMYes, you did it!
dag,
Marije
Ja, en het (Yes, and the)Zuiderzeemuseum. The further I live from home, the Dutcher I get. And already there are new pigs waiting to be washed.
Posted by: eliane at February 27, 2004 12:30 PMCould you wash one for a shiny appearance in the DI-Gallery?

Posted by: Lex van de Oudeweetering at February 29, 2004 05:06 PMHi
i haven't washed my front windows in 2 years. I will eventually get a round to-it. I do occasionally clean the back ones because I use them to look out. My guess is that Canadians are very introspective.
