I have peer recognition. An artist with an NRC subscription ordered a print. It's really interesting, I am having a gigantic Giclée Fine Art Print made. Hot press on watercolour paper. It's lovely, perfect, magic, I saw the test print today. That's why I was emailing back and forth with William, and he kept sending me strange pictures. I sent him back this one, it made sense, believe me. It's me, back in the mid eighties, Coney Island. Thought I might as well show it to you guys. I'll dedicate a blog entry to William's work in the near future, promise.
Posted by eliane at January 13, 2005 05:12 PMHey, that's great. How gigantic is it?
Can we see a picture of it when it's ready?
I tried to pronounce Giclée as "zhee-clay".
Didn't sound right to me at all. Ha!
20x26 inches. Which is more or less 51x66 centimeters. I am curious to see that myself. The test print today was small. And I will show it, don't worry. In French even, if necessary.
