Another newspaper. Another big version.

Beautiful drawing, but what a predictable piece by Steinz. Consumer electronics are still extremely primitive, so complaining about them is useful.

However, Steinz is just showing his ignorance off in an annoying way.

My thoughts exactly, Ijsbrand.

But what's the translation of "een vlag op een modderschuit"?

A beautiful drawing but you are right about the article-the closest I can come for 'vlag op een modderschuit' is 'a rose among thorns' Its not quite the right season for gardening, but in the dead of winter the Ipod cords could pass for a briarhedge!

The best answer to your criticisms comes from my father in law (http://www.depaarden.blogspot.com/), a very typical NRC subscriber: "Ik had nog nooit van een iPod gehoord of gelezen!"

is there a printable version of this article, I would love to read it. I am not able to log onto the NRC site to see it.

Thanks for the article Eliane ! The most important lesson learned by all that read this article I hope is always do your research before you purchase any high tech gadgets ! espeically if its cost as much 800 euro ! I knew about the OS system requirements before considering to buy a IPod, thats why I bought a cheaper PC friendly MP3 player and my sister is very happy with it ! Research is manditory now a days, I think the man who wrote the story is a bit dumb ! its a big big... " Duh ! " situation for me. you don't buy a new car with out doing the research first ! right ?
