joyful consent

"Ever since late April I have been following your work in the newspaper with joyful consent". I received a real letter today. From an author I portrayed last April. Now isn't that just fantastic? He sent it to the editorial desk, and they forwarded it to me. I will try and find a fountain pen myself tomorrow, and write back. In a less ornate style I'm afraid.
And then for some domestic announcements. Netwerk tomorrow is about fish oil. I don't know, I am starting to think they sent a whole crew to Canada for nothing at all. And with tax payer's money. Secondly. I get more and more Google visitors trying to find out where the Dutch can watch the world cup in Toronto. So I'll tell you: We're at Betty's, King East. 8:30 AM Sunday morning. They do want you to announce your presence, mail me (or comment) and I'll give you the details.

Grijns, ik had ook al dezelfde indiscrete vraag. In mijn hoofd dan uiteraard want ik zou nooit die vraag hier durven stellen.

Gisteren stond er in de Volkskrant wel een stukje over Rita in Canada. Maar Netwerk dus nog niet nee.

Kees Verheul. Nouja, discretie... Ik heb hem nog niet eens teruggeschreven. Maar dat moet ook met postzegels enzo, zo langzaam.

volgens mij staat er geen 'toestemming' maar 'bestemming'-als ik gelijk heb is het wel een heel interessante vertaalklus!

aha! dan snap ik wat je bedoelt-ik zou 'agreement' gebruiken ipv consent, maar vertalen is altijd provocerend!
