Earlier:
Toronto is slowly colouring orange. I saw a little Chinese boy on his way to school wearing a van Nistelrooij shirt.

Later:
The Chinese boy turned out to be a good luck charm. It took the Star and CTV until the 88th minute of the game to realize Betty's was the place to be, and not Little Italy. By the time the CTV guy did his live thing in Betty's, the Dutch fans were long on their way, honking their horns and waving their flags on College.

Soccer is so much nicer over there. I can't leave my house without being decapitated by strings and strings of orange flaglets, and the first outdoor parties have begun, complete with foghorns. At least is has been quiet for the last 45 minutes, 'we' mustn't be doing so well. Two losses and it will be over! (or else, I might start watching once the semifinals roll around...)

What a day!
