It is hard to believe, but I have almost made it. Twenty-two drawings non stop. And no Summer holidays. And thanks to Ann and Orbit I don't even need physio. After my first two Little Golden Books I did, I wrecked my back drawing so much. But now I am a dog walker and a runner. Session six tomorrow morning. I feel all sorts of body parts shift towards where they once were. I feel I even stand straighter. And I see some muscle definition just above my knees, I am sure it wasn't there before.
Posted by eliane at September 4, 2008 09:50 PMNiet opgeven, die 'muscles' zijn zich inderdaad nu hard aan't herontdekken. ('t is vanaf hier ongeveer dat velen het beginnen opgeven, doorzetten hoor!)
Posted by: ann at September 5, 2008 12:18 AMSoon you'll have to re-draw your sidebar portrait.
Posted by: blackbird at September 5, 2008 08:20 AMNo silly, I am slowly growing back into my self portrait. Those were my size 14 jeans. And my E-cup bra.
Posted by: eliane at September 5, 2008 08:46 AMThe woman in the illustration could very well be my paternal grandmother. I'm having visions of sitting up straight and not touching anything with sticky fingers. My maternal grandmother was much more fun.
Posted by: Gwen at September 5, 2008 12:01 PMVery funny you should say that, I used a picture of my maternal grandmother as a reference. She was sweet enough, but a real authority.
