Back to basics

We've rebuilt the duvekot.ca site. It doesn't look very fancy, does it? People who see a lot of portfolio sites will sympathize I think. After visting hundreds, no thousands of portfoliosites, we got so sick of webdesign, the only thing we wanted was an un-designed site. So here it is. No colors, no icons, no fanada. Have fun.

FREE CULTURE

Lauwrence Lessig has released his book FREE CULTURE under a creative commons license. That means you may redistribute, copy, or otherwise reuse/remix this book provided that you do so for non-commercial purposes and credit Professor Lessig. Sweet. Now if only I could get my hands on an ASCII version so that I could run it through dropbook and turn it into a palm eBook, so that I could read it on the subway.

== Free Culture ==

I guess I should use a Creative Commons license for this site as well, it would only be fair after all. It feels a little awkward, offering stuff for free, because after all, a gift should be something good and worthwile and valuable.

I didn't see you

When I've narrowly escaped being hit by a car again, I often hear what I've always thought was the lamest excuse ever from the driver "I didn't see you". Well, how could you not see me, I'm dressed in reflecting clothing, I wear two blinkies and I've got a 15 volt halogen light on my bike. I'm -so- noticeable, I look like an effing xmas tree.

Here's the answer:
